چکیده
Photocatalysis as an eco-friendly technology has the potential to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, improvement of conventional photocatalysts is necessary overcome their limitations such slow kinetics, wavelength for excitation, and environmental restrictions. In particular, development a photocatalyst that can operate even in absence light constantly conducted, photo-chargeable could be one answers. this paper, heterojunction composed TiO2 NiO-TiO2 bilayer film (BLF) was prepared. The effect synthesis conditions layer on photocatalytic properties investigated. Photocatalytic degradation measurements were conducted with acid orange 7 (AO7) solution under dark conditions. highest BLF synthesized at NiO loading 52% calcination temperature 300 °C. prepared sample showed about five-fold greater activity 48% AO7 after 8 h compared ordinary (9%) Moreover, it exhibited 13.6% degradation, while naked layers no degradation. proposed mechanism suggested photocatalysis possible due stabilization photogenerated holes by anionic intercalation during illumination.

Nano-sized ZnO catalysts were prepared by a direct precipitation method under the optimal conditions (calcination of precursors at 550 ̊C for 120 min). The as-synthesized ZnO catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The photocatalytic properties of ZnO nanoparticles were investigated via methyl orange (MO) as a model org...

In this study, several ZnO catalysts were prepared using different zinc sources as precursors. The different catalyst morphologies obtained were used to degrade photocatalytically a methyl orange (MO) dye solution, which was used to model wastewater pollution. The precursors, Zn(CH3COO)2, ZnCl2 and Zn(NO3)2, were individually added to a solution containing cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) ...
